Re: Raid against ThePirateBay is FAKE
I just found out about this site a couple days ago, from none other than OOT. I saw a post in a Family Guy thread about it, and how it will *never* get shut down!!! I just saw the webpage and came here to reply to that comment but found this thread first.
I would have no way of knowing if this is real, so I didn't vote. I downloaded a torrent off the site yesterday. 2 questions. 1) Does the site being down have anything to do with connecting to the tracker? I got most of the download last night, but now BT won't connect to the tracker for it. (Sorry, I'm a BT newb) 2)If this is real, do I have anything to worry about since I d/l'd a torrent from them yesterday? (again, BT newb) Thanks, freq |

Re: Raid against ThePirateBay is FAKE
I just found out about it too.
1. I think the trackers can connect to more than one site. So you may still be able to use the torrent. I'm only guessing though. 2. I wouldn't be too worried about downloading, but it depends where you are & what laws you have there. Seems most of the sites get shut down as soon as i hear about them. Re: Raid against ThePirateBay is FAKE
Living in Austria, moving home to Canada in a month. Torrent still won't connect. =( And to think at 83% last night I said "Well, I could wait 30 minutes and let it finish...nahhh, I"ll just go to bed and get the rest tomorrow". (small room, loud fan). booo
