No prob, just kidding around. I try not to read replies beforehand either, and often repeat what's been said by others.

ok seriously, this is one of those hands that I'm sure my stubborn ass has done before

the real point is I would never post it because i would be flamed to death.

here's a AIM convo between me and jason:

Jason: qj hand, what do you think is best on the flop?
me: you can call
Jason: you don't think a bet is better?
me: hmmm
me: now we're talkin

I now feel that betting out this flop is the best

[/ QUOTE ]

Well I am posting it b/c I didnt like the way I played it. I dont like calling, but betting seem like spewing chips.

I know what the winner had.. I wasnt going to push him off it.

Results oriented thinking. And pushing him off of his hand is not the point of the flop bet.

The point behind betting the flop, IMO, is to push *others* out of the hand when UTG raises your bet, to clean up your outs and increase your equity. I don't think the intent is specifically to push him in particular off his hand.

i think this might be one time where we have to pull the emergency switch and call over Nate Tha Great or 1800gambler or bkick, someone of that caliber

but they'll probably just say fold preflop
