I would tend to agree that Harrington assumes a certain level of sophistication on the part of the reader. I don’t see this as a fault just an indication of the target audience. (I found it useful, and I don’t care a *?!* for inexperienced readers.)
I also think that it is important to read whole sections before jumping to conclusions, as he tends to add important qualifiers at the end that a hasty reader might miss. However whatever faults it might or might not have, it’s streets ahead of the competition. |
