If I want to loosen up from the SB, should I usually be 3-betting, or just calling, with a typical player in the BB.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think loosening up in the SB should take the form of limping in with crapola against passive players that you can outplay/steal occasionally from postflop. Not playing against raises (though against steal-raises, 3-betting when the BB is tight at all is definitely the way to go).

Aggreed. Too weak tight.

VPIP needs to be higher, at least 24%

[/ QUOTE ]

This is not true.

I played 200K at 5/10 with VPIP 21, 3-4tabling.
Winrate 3BB/100.
Not saying I couldnt have won more but lately people seems to think that u cant win a lot playing 20% of your hands.

Thank God, a voice of reason.

Sorry i should have been a little more reasonale with this estimate. The difference in VPIP between 10-20 and 5-10 6max woudld account for a good 2-3% VPIP just from the extra hands you'll be playing in the SB, take these %'s as relative guidlines, but soemthing to work towards.

Thanks for correcting me guys.
