I don't think modern Boston has the same image that Boston of past years did, but I believe as far as big cities are concerned it is incredibly racist.

Dan Shaughnessy went on at length about this on ESPN last year, IIRC.

what was the point? that a baseball team's owner didn't allow black players onto the team until 1959? i didn't see any point because no point was made. i'm trying to understand here, not trying to defend.
