A guy I know pretty well is listed for my home town. He was a High School teacher and had sex with more than 1 of his female students. He didn't serve any time, but pretty well fvcked up his life.

Well, I got two in my town.

One of them raped a 48 year old woman when he was in his early 20's. This is not a very smart sex offender.

Not to be a dick (rare moment for me), but why are people so surprised/disturbed by what they find? I'm not saying its happy information, but its nothing I am not cognizant of in my daily life.

Also, while there are many horrendous "sex crimes," they are not all rape. Some jackass who exposes himself to the kiddies at McDonalds is an absolute moron, but he is not necessarily a reason to lock up your kids.

Besides, with our criminal justice system we have a whole lot of "criminals" who are pretty tame folk.
