Re: Spider 6-max hands - part 2
Hand 7: raise preflop.
Hand 8: I would bet the turn and take a free showdown. Your giving a free card here. If he can bluff CR the turn maybe your way is better but that's pretty rare in my experience. -DeathDonkey |

Re: Spider 6-max hands - part 2
Oh man.
I'd like to have hand 7 river check's babies. That is hot. Didn't see anything else wrong, but I just glanced through quickly. You suck, so I'm sure there's stuff wrong. |

Hand 7: raise preflop. [/ QUOTE ] yeah, my edge is huge against any-2. i'm pretty much tied to showdown against this guy if I raise.. which isn't really a bad thing. if raised on the turn (UI) after raising PF, can I call it down? if its too tough without having seen this guy in action (he wasn't gonzo postflop, but he could be random aggro), then describe a non-maniacal opponent who you would call the turn raise against. |

Re: Spider 6-max hands - part 2
why didn't you 3-bet river in hand #1? I don't think a possible boat is a threat...

Re: Spider 6-max hands - part 2
I wouldn't like it but you probably have like 8 outs if he raises the turn so I'd be calling unless the guy was so passive that his raise means two pair minimum.
Let's talk about the turn check in hand 8 I think that's the first one I really don't like. -DeathDonkey |

Let's talk about the turn check in hand 8 I think that's the first one I really don't like. [/ QUOTE ] small pot. uncertain about folding to a check-raise. he's got 6 outs quite often. he'll very often bluff bet the river. those were the outstanding thoughts at the time. |
