[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The irony of quoting that song, is that that song never mentions a single ironic thing... [/ QUOTE ] And isn't it ironic, dont you think A little too ironic, yeah I really do think Wooo I went to see Alanis in concert in 6th grade! Good times, Good times. [/ QUOTE ] Wow Sponger.... that's a really random concert for you to go to! [/ QUOTE ] But, alas, not ironic in the least |

Word usage is constantly being adapted in day-to-day language. Random is not even close to the most prominent example of this phenomenon. If you are going to complain about this, then why not start bitching about everything else? Blah, blah, blah. You say you're owning somebody when technically you really don't have possession of that person. Blah, blah, blah. You say that girl was smoking when she was neither on fire nor had a cigarette in her mouth. Blah, blah, blah...

So, I have no problem with them. The misuse of the word "random" is just plain illogical and wrong. Thanks anyway! Adam |

I don't think the use of "random" could ever top the disdain I hold for people using "like"
I, myself, am guilty of it at times, but there are people who cannot construct a thought without inserting "like" into it about 20 times.. |
