What does it mean if you took the question to mean between 12 and 5 INCLUSIVE? I thought of 12 and it didn't even occur to me that boundary numbers were excluded from answering (not to mention the slight brain pause when the higher boundary number was stated before the lower). Once I saw it wasn't a choice in the poll, my mind locked up and no other number sprang to mind.
I guess its just proof that I'm not all there.... |

I read the question and thought of a clock. Since I was thinking in terms of clockwise, the number that came to mind was 4. It was not listed; therefore, I could not choose any number in the poll.
btw - The vegetable that came to mind (after the number six), was celery. |

Not an uncommon answer. It's a fun one to try on people in person, but make sure they say it out loud and as fast as they can. Improves the results...

I picked orange
Then I realized it wasn't a vegetable. At least it has 6 letters. |

makes you wonder if the time it takes people to pick a number changes the norm for a choice... for instance i took a while and had my clicker over 8 and then over 9 before i decided a prime was more right for me and thought 11 was too big finaly settling me on 7... i guess I can be normal when i think about it for a while...
so for any1 out there who clicked quick... what'd you get? |
