just had a hand like this
Why this forum is insanely useful ;-)
Hero has AA. Hero ($500) makes it 25 preflop, one loose caller ($380). Flop is T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets $40, villain makes it $100 to go. Hero pauses, notes his ace of hearts, and decides that he's going to check-raise allin any turn; calls. Turn comes blank, hero checks, villain bets $100, hero check-raises all-in... villain folds. Anyway, not quite the same hand since there were draws. The more important difference is the lack of overcards, which makes check/call better than move in. But it's basically the same idea. My default in these situations has usually been to bet out the turn, but I think this was a much better line. |
