Grats!... All in A9o though? lol - Great win

A9o vs. A4o was the final hand.

Amazing dude. Big-time congrats.

I assume that this is by far your biggest win? Care to share a little bit more about your poker playing career? I would love to know how long you have been playing and what other wins you've had, etc etc

Again, congrats.

Default wow :)

WOW

holy crap i am pretty much in shock now.

thanks for everyone who wished me well. this is by far my biggest win to date.

a little about myself.... well i'm 19. i've only been playing poker seriously for a little over a year, started with a $50 bankroll on pokerstars. been playing semi-professionally for probably 8 months, mostly in "small" 100-400 NL games. i have won several tourneys but no cashes over like $2500. i actually won my seat in the $1mil from a $11 satellite (though i was going to play it anyways, especially with the huge overlay).

i'd love to post the hand histories (probably quite a few, it was 8.5 hrs of poker), but as far as i know i can't get them from pacific.

as far as any specifc comments about the tourney, hm. i definately caught cards when i needed to, but i also played probably the best tourney of my life. i may have gotten a little over-eager with A9o when we were heads up but it turned out to be the right choice so i'm not going to second guess myself there.

as for what i'm doing with the money... well i'll probably buy a car (right now i'm driving a '96 saturn with 130k miles). i decided to put 10k aside for the wsop as soon as i can play (2007).. i'm not a big win-and-spend type person, so the rest will probably be invested (poker and stockmarket) and pay for my way through school (which i haven't started yet, but plan to sometime in the next couple years).
