This may have already been said, I did not read all the replies, but I think the best buffet on the strip hands down is the Paris. There is great variety and the food is top quality. They hire chefs there, not cooks as I like to say. You won't be disappointed.

I, too, am very partial to Paris. It's definitely a point of anticipation for every trip. Bellagio is great, as well.

Paris is VERY GOOD
Ballys was fair Rio was good (dont think I had the "seafood buffet") Golden Nugget was poor (2 years ago) Texas Station = Best cheap buffet NOTHING BEATS BELLAGIO........ Personally with the sky high price, I think it is still the best "value" Mmmmmm Butter Nut Squash Ravioli. Probably the best food item I ever ate. |

Interesting link to a Vegas Buffet Review and Rankings Site. I was looking for this link earlier, and couldn't find it -- Lots of visitors have submitted comments about the various Vegas buffets, so you may find the info there helpful.

It is a little-known fact that for $50, Jasmine in Bellagio holds an amazing mid-day oriental food buffet. My wife and I rate it the best in Vegas. Worth every cent if you are into perfectly-made Dim Sum and a whole variety of very good food. It's quiet, very elegant and mainly populated by visitting orientals who know it's the best food in Vegas at lunchtime. I'm not one to lay out $50 for a Vegas lunch very often, but you have to try it once.
For all-out pigout I vote with the Rio crowd. I wont see the newly renovated places like Mirage until May, so my current ratings are a little dated. |

All I know about this subject is to avoid the buffet at the Excalibur at all costs.
It s just like scones, looks good but doesn't have any flavor. |

My list of favorite buffets:
GVR - If you can go on Sunday and get a 2 for 1, it is worth the drive. Plus, bloody mary's and good champagne on Sundays. Bellagio - Outstanding. It is the Bellagio. Main Street Station - Really good eats and really cheap. |

Paris buffet is the cat's meow for BREAKFAST. They have lots of great pastries, crepes, fruit, lox, waffles, etc etc till you're about to puke from eating too much. I do their breakfast perhaps once every six weeks. Lunch and dinner it's OK, not great but OK.
As for getting a comp at the aladdin, you're NOT going to get a comp for the entire buffet. You might get a comp for a few dollars off the buffet tho. Don't count on more than $1 an hour. Make sure you "clock in" (i.e. have the manager write down your name and when you started playing as soon as you arrive). Tournament play doesn't count. al |

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the Flamingo's buffet. It's only like $16 too, which seems cheaper than most.
