4 Call - Why are other posters folding this? I'd like to see some responces please.

because A6s is a crappy hand to play up front in a reasonably tight game

I will not open limp this from anywhere. if it is early I fold it and if it is later I raise it. I find that with a limper in front of me it is playable at limits up to 3/6 because even if you are raised you get enough cold callers and completions out of the blinds to make it multiway a good percentage of the time.

Because you are completely out of position and you have A6.

And if you are getting 4 or more players to the flop regularly... then this is an auto-call for me. Nice nut flush potential, and an easy hand for me to drop faster than a hot potato if 3-bet pre-flop, or on an ugly flop. I don't lose a lot play this hand, but I sure can gain a lot if I play it in the long run.

The NPA discusses this in detail on page 70 of SSHE. Of course middle suited aces play best in loose passive games, but I'll play A6s 4 handed anticipating the possibility of a lone aggressive raiser any day.

1: Fold

you are a nit

So you fold A6s from middle position against no raise, but you play A2s from the little blind against an middle postion raise from a tight/semi-aggressive player? I would call a raise from the big blind in many situations with A2s, but I won't complete from the small blind against that raise.
