Re: prima and scandinavia?
[ QUOTE ]
You must be pretty retarded if you believe up to 3000miles is "20min from each other" [/ QUOTE ] Cmon, your not considering the northern most 2500 miles are you? Nobody lives there. |

Is it true that Swedes are not taxed on poker winnings (as some other poster mentioned)? If that's true, it must be about the only thing you're not taxed on... [/ QUOTE ] Yes, there are no taxes on poker winnings. Two reasons: First there is technically very difficult for the authorities to find out how much money and where you have made it. Secondly: taxes would mean the end for online poker in sweden. First rakes, and then taxes would make it almost impossible to make any money on it |

Re: prima and scandinavia?
If you are a citizen in a country which is a member of the European Union, then income from gambling and poker on sites that are registered in the EU is exempt from taxes.
As regards "the northern most 2500 miles", you clearly suffer from a misconception similar to that of Kane's. |

Re: prima and scandinavia?
Oaky, was just kidding about the northern 2500 miles of sweden. It's always fun poking a little fun at Swedes as i know how much you guys like making fun of Americans...It just so happens i work for a Swedish company so i get over there quite a bit.

Re: prima and scandinavia?
[/ QUOTE ] Which continent is England in? Which continent is Sweden in? It isn't snobbery either, I haven't said we are a better class of people than you guys at all...just that Kane has no idea what he's talking about. [/ QUOTE ] Notice what I said: I said to get real continential (i.e. European, which includes England) snobbery I thought you had to go to the continent (the physical continent of Europe, which does not include England) I guess for real British intelligence, I am going to have to stick to the economist. And PS: We saved your asses in World War 2. |

Re: prima and scandinavia?
Hehe no offense taken. And you're actually right, seems like they're gradually emptying northern Sweden, sad really.
I'm in northern Norway (biggest city of northern Norway, and we're like 60 000 here) though, basically same thing, but a little better here |

I said to get real continential (i.e. European, which includes England) snobbery I thought you had to go to the continent (the physical continent of Europe, which does not include England) [/ QUOTE ] 3 things: 1. Look up the word snobbery 2. Look up which continent England is in (of course I wouldn't know since I only live here) 3. Read a real history book Before you post anything else about things you know nothing about PS - I get the WW2 reference but you haven't just given me a bad beat, just made yourself look stupid. |
