Maybe I'm overreacting.

Two other thoughts:
1) They were both from Canada. I forget what part at this point.

2) I made the comment "collusion 101?" in the chat box somewhere during this, and received no comment. Most people would react rather strongly to being accused of cheating. I did that once during live play, and it caused a scene..

Anyway, if I'm overeacting, at least I didn't post their names...

[ QUOTE ]

I dropped $300 that session....little less than 40BB's....which is natural at a table like that if your good hands aren't holding up.

[/ QUOTE ]

And it being your second B&M session, you probably thought about it for days afterwards and wondered if you were doing something wrong.

You are way overreacting. I would play at their table even if I knew for sure they were sharing card information with each other. If these guys are colluding they are doing an awful job.

I had read enough on here and played enough online that I was relatively familiar with the variance that could be involved in a game as wild as that one.

I didn't play the situation ideally as I wasn't a very good player at the time....but I actually didn't think about it for days afterward.
Drop 40BB's in a GREAT situation....oh well, move on.

1. Comments in the chat-box don't always gets responses. Certainly not like they would in real-life.
They might HAVE known each other....which would be a good thing since they would then likely try to play together again.
If they WERE trying to collude than perhaps they just ignored the comment.
If they were drunken-morons then they might have had no idea what you were talking about.

Just because they didn't say anything doesn't prove anything.

Holy Crap, I should hope so. Most people in REAL life are going to take some SERIOUS offense to this.
Don't know the situation of course....but I might suggest that accusing someone of colluding live at the table might not be the smartest thing to do.

It looks to me like you are pretty collusion-paranoid.

Right. It's also possible that they were just friends who said, "Hey, let's jump on Party and raise every hand to the end!" This isn't really collusion.

Were they doing this on every hand? It appears so to me if the average pot was $150. Clearly, this is not collusion, this is just maniacal play, even if they talked about raising every hand till the bitter end.

And yeah, it's fun but tough to play against roboraisers. You basically can't ever fold any hand you enter the pot with, save a few exceptions.

Pretend you're a .5/1 player. You happen to sit down at a table where some 2+2ers are lagging out. You'll see any manner of hands capped and played like idiots. At point point Schneids and I played an unimproved AK and AQ so furiously that AA called us down on the turn and river.

Just because people are playing horribly doesn't mean they're cheating, they may just be goofs with money to burn.
