Re: How do u beat a Bad Player, When u have AA\'s
Please tell me that his K9 was actually suited....
You're hearing people tell you to fold even though if you had AK again they'd probably tell you to call. TPTK right?? that's what everyone says! The odds that a bad player beat you with a K9 are just unlucky. If he just had K2 people would be congratulating you on making a great play. Just remember that since he called a $50 raise, he had to have at least one high card. Then for him to bet 3/4 pot heads up, he had a K for sure. The odds of him pairing up that 9 are about 3 to 1 whereas if he has a K and ANY card other than that 9.... you are still a 75% favorite. Roughly. (like 72 - 78 %) It was a good bet considering what you knew about the hand. Just so you know, you had about a 25% chance of winning even though he had top 2 pair. Re: How do u beat a Bad Player, When u have AA\'s
I think you got unlucky. I think you could have avoided it by raising more pre-flop, and not going too deep with a one-pair hand.

Also, this belongs in the small-stakes forum.

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] At the time I did not know how bad villian was(No Read, besides he does seem to beat everytime he is checked too) 2-4Nl on UB Hero(400) is in the big blind wit AA. I bought in for 200 and have only played one pot which i doubled up wit AK after a strong raise preflop. and calling a allin on the flop. Villan is in MP(255). fold around to villian who raises to 18. everyone folds to me and i make is 50 even to go. Villan smooth calls. flop comes. k96 (suits are not important). I check planing on trapping him. the only hands i could put him on that beat me is pocket kings and maybe 9s. He beats 3/4 the pot, leaving him around 100 left. I put him all in and he calls. Shows K9 for two pair and scoops the pot. This seemed like a easy play with the flop coming as it did. Did i play this hand bad? How do i not lose my money in this pot? [/ QUOTE ] You played this hand poorly. I think this is an easy fold unless you are up against a very very bad player. About 90% of the time, Im check folding AA on that flop. There is also a slim chance that UB rigged it so that guy would win... [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: How do u beat a Bad Player, When u have AA\'s
I find I win the most money with AA against a bad player by getting all my stack in the middle. Barring that, I get all of his stack in the middle.

Re: How do u beat a Bad Player, When u have AA\'s
Wrong forum. You're looking for small-stakes, or possibly "clowns posting bad beat stories."
On the off-chance that you're actually unsure about the line: yes, you played it right. |

Re: How do u beat a Bad Player, When u have AA\'s
If you are really unsure of whether or not your money should of went in with this flop and these stack sizes then you deserve the comments that you are receiving. its a ridiculously stupid post

Bet the full pot on the flop, calling an all in raise.
