Re: thank you--and clarification
[ QUOTE ]
"Any advice would be appreciated" Fold any ace high flush...mine just lost to straight flush [/ QUOTE ] Ugh...mine lost last night to a straight flush too. Here's a question...if I have the A high flush but there's a possibility of a str8 flush on the board, is the A flush still considered the nut flush? Or can a non A-high straight flush be considered a nut flush? Sadly, I'd never had to think about it before last night. |

Re: thank you--and clarification
And I quote:
"Nut Flush As far as 'nut' means the best possible hand, 'nut flush is the best flush available within each hand. Usage: Like in sentence "I had the ace of spades, the nut flush"." I'm glad I was able to do something useful today. |

Re: thank you--and clarification
It is still the nut flush. But it is no longer "the nuts". Just like an Ace high straight is still the nut straight, but not necessarily the nuts.

[/ QUOTE ] That's my question...is the straight flush considered the "nut flush" because it's the "strongest" possible flush (seeing that it's a straight flush) or is it just "the nuts" because it's a *straight* flush and not just a plain old A high flush? I think that the answer will depend on who I ask. |
