There is nothing wrong w/checkraising for information but once you get the information, you must use it well.

There is nothing wrong w/the checkraise by itself, once he's 3 bet, he should just fold though.

But the only part of that link that works is the stuff we already know--the counting outs section.

The first 3 articles (Preflop Strategy, Preflop Play Balancing Report, and Postflop: Drawing to Outs) all work for me.

Start worrying about not sucking postflop. It's what keeps me up at night.

Indeed.

Nice post.

I think this is a great post.

I think it's also a funny post, because if I had made the exact same post I would have been flamed like hell for it.

Either way, it had to be said. Many of you on here think that having a VPIP of 15 and a PFR % of 10 means you're good. It does not.

Not sure what you had in this hand, but if you had KK+ I think you should smooth call his flop CR, call the turn (raise the turn with JJ/QQ) and raise the river unless you think he will CR overcards on the flop.

Seriously though, I liked your post.

Honestly, this being only two weeks off the whole cinnamonwind fiasco, you could post that puppies were cool and still get flamed for it.

But beyond that...you've been wrong enough times to make people wary even when you are right. I'm not saying this is the case even close to the majority of the time, as you generally seem to be pretty decent...but you have a habit of defending yourself vigorously (and, authoritatively) even when wrong, which leads to the post sitting on the top of small stakes for three days, which means that your wrongness gets hammered into every 2+2rs head...and this is the case even though you might be wrong one time in twenty.

The CinnamonWind "fiasco"? Lol awesome. I was a "fiasco" now.

And yes I could post just about anything and people would disagree. Meh, their loss, frankly. I give excellent advice, and if they're too dumb to take it, they can keep on playing suboptimally.

When 150 people post on a thread simply to say "pwned" it qualifies as a fiasco.

No, it doesn't. It means they don't like me and enjoy gloating, even though I was pretty damn transparent in my trolling.
