Hillary Clinton will never become president.

I actually hope the Democrats select her as their 2008 nominee, because it will ensure a Republican victory.

That is very true Daliman.

But she is a bad example to use to prove your assertion that we won't get a female president because a lot of men don't like the idea of women in power.

I honestly believe that at 90-95% of men would have no problem voting for a female candidate who agreed with them politically.

I think your being wildly optomistic. I don't even think there are 90-95% of women that would have no problem voting for a female candidate.

14% of the US senates are women. Is this accurate? How much of a correlation does being a senator have with chances of becoming president?

what percent of the WSOP ME field are women?

It's very hard to jump from the Senate to the presidency.

Only two Senators have made it. Warren Harding and JFK.

Thirteen other presidents have served in the U.S. senate, but made other stops as well, such as the vice presidency, or a governorship.

This is likely because governors have executive experience and vice presidents are very close to the presidency.

Senators are also known for having positions and not principles.

Questions like this don't generate 'discussion' as much as just banter. How about this one "when will a women win Player of the Year in cardplayer?" In my opinion that won't happen anytime soon...

2008 has a decent chance to guarantee a female president.

Hillary vs. Condaleeza seems like a matchup that makes a lot of sense.

Am I the only one who flashed back to the Simpsons Halloween episode where Kang and Kodos kidnapped Clinton and Dole and ran for the presidency against each other?

You have to vote for one of us! Its a two-party system!

Homer: (getting whipped) Don't blame me. *I* voted for Kodos.
