I don't stall, but I don't really see anything wrong with it. Truth be told, if you're using good MTT bubble play strategy you will RARELY be in a position to stall. By the time we are 4 or 5 from the money, either I'm long gone or I've dug myself out of the <10BB jam.

Most people are harping on the 'Stalling' issue. Really, I
dont believe that is the crux of the issue. The number of
shortstacks stalling in a given PP MTT is realitively small.

What really hurts is that the blasted level timer keeps ticking away while the tourney is in Hand-for-Hand mode.

The suggestion of a # of hands per level, like SNGs, just before the money until the final table is reached is an excellent solution.

Correct me if I am wrong here but once the structure goes to hand for hand, stalling makes no sense. If you wait for some other guy on another table to go out before you go out on the same hand, you are both out at the same time. The tiebreaker is your starting chip count.

I would suggest that once they start with hand for hand that they increase the blinds every 10-15 hands instead of using a time limit. Then people wouldn't be so stressed about the clock. Once it gets to the final table they can go back to the timed rounds.

Nice email but I doubt it'll get you anywhere. PartyPoker is the Microsoft of online poker - crappy product, lousy customer support, no respect for their customers - yet they're the biggest. Why? They are better marketers.

I wrote 2 suggestion emails to Pokerstars and got personal responses both times within about an hour. Now there's a company that respects their customers.

stalling is used before hand-for-hand takes place... it's used about 5 or so spots before they get to hand-for-hand
