Re: The ultimate ethical question
Well, this is even nicer than what I wanted to do. I thought up this scheme to go to a GA meeting and share my "problem" with the group. My problem of course was that I was addicted to my profits from gambling online. What? You guys have never heard of Party Poker? Here, let me help you set up an account...

This is funniest thing I've read all week. Actually, in all seriousness, I know a few GA members who were NOT LOSING PLAYERS! So watch out. These particular individuals "bottom" w/ gambling had to with negative repurcussions in their home life, damage to professional reputations, failing out of school, that sort of thing. Being compulsive gambler does not necessarily mean you are a losing player. Ask yourself, could you still be a winning player and answer yes to seven or more of these twenty questions? |

Re: The ultimate ethical question
If one truely wanted to learn how to exploit the maniacs, then the most effective means would be to read up on the subject.
IMHO, you are rationalizing your desire to be a voyeur by telling yourself that it is a "research" project. |
