Just going to interject a few cents in here.

Backing off in Iraq shows weakness, and I don't want to give Al-Qaida any kind of morale boost. That said, a resounding victory in Iraq is a huge morale boost if we stick to it more.

You know what, maybe we're declaring war on the Iraqi people. So what? War is war. Iraq symbolizes something right now, and you can't give up.

That said, the root cause of terrorism is not some BS about hating our freedom. It's not some BS about us "meddling" too much.

There are only 2 reasons wars are ever fought/initiated:
A. You think you're better than the guys you're fighting.
B. You want their stuff.

Simple as that.

[/ QUOTE ] AQ wants us out of the Middle East so they can use their influence and terror to get the governments in the area to do what they want. They also would like to destroy Israel. They are unable to do either of these because we are there "meddling"

And what would be so bad about any of that?

We bear a big burden for supporting Israel.

We should have a strong military at home but it should only be used for defense. We should put the world at notice that if anyone attacks us that they will be dealt with harshly. But none of this preemptive war bullshit.

Bush didn't win Florida. Almost all of the studies after the fact showed that Al Gore won Florida.

There's all the info you need.

There are about 15 links that you can delve through. Most of them lead to studies of the Florida vote.

The Media Consortium hired the National Opinion Research Center to examine 175,010 ballots that were never counted in Florida. The investigation took 8 months and cost $900,000. No matter what standard for judging ballots is applied, Gore wins.

Gore wins no matter which way you count.

Here's just one link from the site which examines one aspect(the undervotes):

There are many more aspects, such as 3-corner chads and dimples with sunlight.

I hate to keep rehashing this...But 99% of those links in that post dont work. And the ones that do, point to completely differnet numbers that are posted on the site. Thirdly, Thanks for finding some non-biased reporting. Its not everyday you can find legitimate information on an "impeach bush" webpage.

Ya know, its really time to get over this. You really have to stop hating. Actually, no you dont. Because people like you and the Micheal Moores of the world who cant get over one little piece of history are the reason GWB was elected to a second term.

I repeat my claim (with a little disclaimer).

Show me ONE non-partisan (i.e. legitimate newspaper, television or magazine, etc), recount that shows Gore won.
