you only have to be even odds if you fold to the 3-bet. as I said, if you get 3-bet, you're ahead like never

That's a pretty amazing hand! He check raised you on the big bet round with a gutshot draw! Wow! You want to play with this loose-goose every chance you get.

I take it you don't play the party 15/30? A check raise on the turn there is a draw like 75% of the time.

Actually, his opponent had flopped top pair as well. If I had T8 here, on the turn, the check-raise would be a VALUE raise and to protect my hand against overcards, not a semi-bluff.

I think if you can fold to the 3-bet, it's an auto-raise. Otherwise it's close. Personally, I can't lay down to a 3-bet, so with no read, usually I call. But then again, I'm weak.
