Yeah, I had a pretty bad run yesterday, everytime I went in with the best of it, I got outdrawn, but got a couple firsts to save the day.

Then made $5000 for my 2nd in the $50 large caps multi table.

For instance, two ace high flushs vs straight flushs (third this week), then my AA gets outdrawn my a6 offsuit with a flush.

I had the most amazing death I've ever seen last night. I was playing 6 $55's. In less than 2 min, and 3 hands were simultainious, I had AK with a floped Axx vs. QQ all in on the flop, KK vs. QQ all in preflop, KK vs. QQ all in preflop, KK vs. JJ all in preflop. LOST THEM ALL!!! I can't even figure the odds of having KK on 3 tables at once, much less being out drawn with my 90%, 80%, 80%, 80% win chances. I just hope it's rare enough I never have to see it again in my lifetime. I was stunned. Lost the other 2 also. All in all, down 20+ buy-ins, for my worst streak ever. Ugh!

i think i got you guys beat...

Playing 3 50+5 tables, with-in 5 minutes I had AA beat by KK on all three, they each had these things in common:

1.level 2
2.Player with KK limped
3.I raised three times BB (90), had position
4.player with KK raised to 400 or larger (limp raise)
5.I pushed
6.they flopped a set

the only differience is one of them rivered quads to which I replied, "that last K really rubbed it in."

Any of this starts happening and I'm out of here.

12. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood [dull red in color]; 13. And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth [there was a great meteor shower], even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together [the stars seemed to disappear]; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I think the planets must have been aligned oddly yesterday. I also had a terrible day. After posting an ROI in the 60's for my first 70 games using Aleo's new spreadsheet, yesterday I went 14 OTM in a row for a loss of, well, 14 buy ins. Ouch, my profit looked like stock prices after a major correction.

Hands like this are why I am down almost 2k in under 1.5 hours already tonight, with 1 3rd in 9 finishes.

Other fun hands..

KK allin PF loss to AK that called 850 more on stage 2.
AA loss to Q8 that flopped 2 pair.(my fault though)
AA loss to JJ calling a limp-reraise for 800 more 2nd hand of tourney.
AJo loss to A3o call of 680 more Preflop raising from SB vs BB only.
QQ loss to A5 allin 3 handed.
AQs calling allin vs ATs at bubble when he overbets PF, 2 pair on board splits pot.
And 66 calling a 300 raise at 50-100 and hitting his set vs my ATc that hit two pair.

My normal showdown win % is 75-80%

Tonight, 46%

F'n awesome

and not get flamed? hmmmmm. when i was posting all my premium hands getting cracked and all my favored hands getting drowned by river beats, then it's a question of, "you need to accept the fact that you're a bad poker player". where are the flame police now? i don't see strasser, ZJ, AngryCola, PhillS, Praying Mantis, naphand, or anybody else in here screaming out how bad beats threads don't accomplish anything. i feel your thread Daliman, don't get me wrong, this is no diss to you. this one of the reason why these boards are real biased. when i authored my thread called, "I'm Not Saying Online Poker Is Rigged But.." a couple of mouths ago, i basically cronicled a lot of the same kind of beats in succession, with the exception being that it did'nt occur in the same night. in the process i got no love.

There's a difference between a "I'm about to throw my computer out the window, I'm getting lots of bad beats tonight," post and one that purports to be a strategy post, but is nothing than a bad beat post in disguise.

I'm not condoning the first, b/c this forum could just turn into a bad beat story-fest. But under 2+2 common law, the former is not as severe a crime as the later.

Plus, one's "prior record" gets taken into consideration as well in these things.
