And I agree with Matt on one point that the other player that could make a living in all 3 games, (other than himself obviously) Eddie G is a very underated holdem player. Hes not nearly aggressive as he should be, doesnt take any chances. But try and outsmart him...its tough to do

I think CMO feels he has an edge against me because he 3-bets my PF raises at what feels like a rate way higher than normal. Either that or I am just unlucky at running into him with hands.

Plus when he is on my right and I'm in a blind his blind stealing standards are very low since he thinks I play too tight, and I can expand my range of defending hands because I know my hand is probably better than his. And since he thinks I'm tight I can check/call lots of flops and it slows him down because he thinks I'm always slowplaying him.

I'm probably way off the mark here though since me and him recently had a pot over $800 that featured my A8o against his A6h and had $690 in the pot by the end of the turn without either of us yet holding a pair or draw (other than both of us with a gutshot) so I'm sure he's caught on to all of the following I've just said and our postflop dynamics against eachother will continue to change.

As it stands I'd still rather have those guys on my right or the opposite side of the table.

CMO doesnt get enough consideration in this thread and as far as making the most $ this year playing 30-60 holdem at canterbury he is easily 1 or 2.

Agreed.

Check out this post from a while back.
ATTN: Canterbury Players

That should pretty much answer the question.
Other very good players...
Chris O (Vehn)
Carl
Sounds like Schneids, Bicycle Kick and Andy B are crushing this game too.

I've sat in it 3 times and am down around 5g.

That and I don't play that great of a live game.

Yeah that and you can't post screen shots of your losing/winning sessions for us to pity/envy.

Well technically he could post a pic of a roll of cash but Vehn already did that long ago so it wouldn't be too original (plus that'd require BK to actually start winning live...lol).

I won't say that you couldn't. As I said, I haven't really seen you play During 2002, though, $30/60 stud/8 was a hot game at Canterbury and went a lot more frequently than $30/60 hold'em. A number of players who were very good at hold'em and/or high-only stud performed abysmally in that game.

CMO is a good player, but I think he's too loose.
