I put $10 on dealer in baccarat. Won.

Take the $19 to BJ and win the hand.

So now I have $38.

Hmm which game to play.

Oh hell, $38 on BJ again. 13 vs 4. Dealer flips 6 hits 10.

No shocking developments there.

Next time it goes to red on roulette or pai gow!

Just a friendly reminder -- do CoN through ecasinodeals. You'll get an extra $90 worth of junk that way.

I received more than $100.

There is some discussion in the Online Blackjack Guide forums about what determines the size of this bonus. One theory is that it is a delayed 5% deposit bonus. Another is that you get $0.10 per comp point earned. Since I had wagering requirements of 5 times my deposits, I can't yet distinguish between these possibilities.

Did you deposit exactly $200? Did you wager more than the minimum required?

Interesting.

I deposited exactly $200 and wagered a bit more than the minimum (I had 114 comp points). I then did the BJ hunt on Tuesday: $50 deposit, 200 $3 hands for $25 bonus. I played 230 hands then (I miscounted), then played a little baccarat.

Does that help?

Yes, that's helpful, thanks. That is consistent with the idea that they gave people about $0.10 per comp point, or 1% back from what they wagered. It is conceivable that they have a different formula which depends on the games played, but I doubt it. Your example helps to reject the idea that the random bonuses are delayed deposit bonuses.

From the casinos' perspective, the house advantage on blackjack is about 2%. Most people don't follow basic strategy. This helps to explain the plethora of bonuses with wagering requirements of 60 times the bonus.
