I got a BS in math from UW-La Crosse, but it was more number theory and computer science related. My real major was computer science and the math sort of just came along for the ride. I only took 1 statistics class. I'm not sure if the idea of "limited lifetime" comes up in later statistics courses, but I believe it plays a huge role in poker.

You give UW La Crosse a bad name.

Hey, you're madd scientist from the tucker max board aren't you?

This guy has been dispensing terrible poker advice on that board for a while now, this should come as no surprise. And almost every one of his posts is prefaced by some mention of how much money he's won playing poker.

(insert comment about how he's obviously using too many drugs to be trading them)

The image though is great... "Okay, I'll give you two of this one for that one and four of those joints."

I totally thought you guys were talking about this fine institution.

For a second, I thought the OP was saying that he took a really advanced math and numbers class at a diploma mill univeristy and therefore is qualified to say that SSHE is junk.

MY school is the 2nd best university in Guam for basket weaving

I'd find your post interesting if you didn't come off as completely arrogant.

Your "discussion piece" was nothing more than an all-out attack on one of the contributing authors for this forum.

[/ QUOTE ]

If the advice in the book is sound, it will hold up to "attack". In fact that is the entire philosophy behind this forum.

Despite the ranting tone I think the original poster has a good point. It is trendy these days to find minimal edges and push them. Is that a good strategy for people still polishing their game? I think it is an interesting discussion.
