If you live in Europe, there really isn't a cheaper way to withdraw your money. As it is now (haven't gotten around to get the card yet), I pay $35 for every withdrawal.

If you live in Sweden (that's my guess from your name), here's a cheap way:
Neteller -> Multipoker -> Swedish bank account.

That will cost you $0.

"They are GREAT for tax evasion as the card does not even have your name on it. "

I would never dream of evading taxes, but is this true that there is no trail with your name on it when you make a withdrawal using one of these?

So that's...

$2 to deposit from Neteller to the card (max $1000), plus

$1.50 Neteller charge to use the card (max $500), plus a $3 charge from the bank, or

$2 + $1.50(2) + $3(2) = $11/$1000 withdrawn, or 1.1%.

Not great, but not terrible.

i have been suggesting to NETeller from day one to implement a Visa logo card.

now i think that they could just do a "bill pay" service and people would be thrilled. it could probably be a good revenue source for NETeller.

i for one would pay a $1 or $2 fee per transaction to be able to have this service.

Does this mean that by having a card you are charged once to transfer money from your neteller account to your ATM card and then a second time to withdrawl from ATM card?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes.

You're charged $2 by neteller to put $1000 max into your debit card acct. Then also subtract whatever the bank charges you to withdraw from their machines. I use mine all the time to take out the max $500 from local banks. It's so handy for me that I don't mind the fees. Just make sure you try to transfer the max every time.

Some banks might let you withdraw more than 500 at a pop, so look for them.

edit: oops. plus the 1.50 neteller charges you for each withdrawal, I guess. I've never got a debit statement to check exactly how much is charged at what step, but they add up to a bit.

Are there any places that you know of (other than casinos) that normally have ATMs that give out 100 dollar bills.

All the ATMs that I use regularly seem to only have 20s or sometimes 10s.

You do realise that you can now Neteller -> Party/Empire -> Debit card (Switch/Solo). No fee, v. good exchange rate.

Can you give me more info on this?

I saw the option for deposits. And it spoke of a phone card (which I'm not interested in).

I saw no option for withdrawels.

Specifics appreciated!

If you play on Party you can get a bank wire transfer for $35. If you withdraw over $4000 a month that should be cheaper.

I think the idea is to be under the radar for the US authoriries(not mecessarily the IRS, if internet gambling becomes illegal, it would be good to have a way to get funds without having them transfered into your bank account.

Also, in relation to the atm card, I have gotten some 'snippy' answers about the fact the card is issued from a USA bank, I checked and it is. I also remember never giving Neteller my SS# and I knwo there are more than 1 "James Smith's" in the phone book, anyway, if you report your taxes, not to worry anyway, right?
