Re: Is Paul Phillips Gay?
[ QUOTE ]
You take this [censored] a lot better than most would dude. [/ QUOTE ] Maybe it's because Paul is secure enough in his manhood that he doesn't care one way or another if people think he's gay. Like Paul, I'm a straight guy who likes to dress well and have been mistaken for gay on more than occassion. I find it amusing and not in the least bit threatening or a blow to my masculinity. In fact, there's been more than a few times when I've gotten a beautiful woman interested in me initially because of the ambiguity. It's always the frat boy/jock types who didn't know how to process that "almost gay" experience they had when they were snapping towels in the locker room or having sex in the same room with a buddy who are constantly worrying about other's sexuality. Don't worry, Dudes. You aren't gay. Or maybe you are. But either way? I couldn't give a rat's ass. |

Re: Is Paul Phillips Gay?
You know, I find this totally fascinating. I can't see someone else's sexual orientation being of the least bit of interest, unless of course you wanna bump uglies with the person in question. Then, it's entirely relevant.
So, I see a bunch of guys, slinging the word "gay" around like it's an insult, yet seem completely obsessed with who is gay. Not who isn't gay, just who is. Are these people perhaps looking for an ugly-bumpage partner or two? Well, good for you, but I don't really see how it's relevant to poker, tournaments, or televised tournaments. |

[/ QUOTE ] You start laughing because it's ridiculous and irrelevent. You keep on laughing because of the little silly tangents that you find (The Dread-Pirate Juanda, for example) that are just humorous in the context. You finally laugh hardest of all when you realize that some of the people in the thread actually -do- care one way or the other. ~D |

Man, every time I read one of Erostratus’ posts I regret it. What an imbecile. You haven’t been in radio for 20 years by any chance, have you? --Greg |

Just gratuitously poking a finger in their eyes. Because I really, honestly don't care, but they obviously do. If there's any laughing on my part, it's laughing at the hypocrisy. |
