Hey guys I wonder if we could schedule a portland OR (and vancouver) 2+2 meet up at LA center some time. I dont go up there much because I dont quite have 10/20 roll yet and I cant stand playing in a game where my hourly rate is about 6 bucks, but It would be fun to meet and play against some of you guys...

BTW BDYPDX you must be having a real shitty run of cards if you are questioning your play on these hands, they all look routine.

I'm game.

They usually only have one 10/20 game going up there. :/ And it's usually all old deck-hands. I've played in it on occasion, but I actually think I do better at the 3/6 & 4/8's.

Default Correction to hand 2

Hand 2:

It was more like this...

KTd in LP. A few limpers. I limp, but probably should have raised.

Flop: Qs6d7d. Bet, raise and I 3-bet and they call.

Turn: Qs6d7c Qd. A bet and I raise, get re-raised and I call considering the better flush.

River: Qs6d7c Qd 9c. Checked to me, I bet and get raised. I call. He shows 99.

One poster said I must be getting a bad run of cards. Tru dat. Lately there seems to be a loose fish at the table amassing an enormous stack of chips. I do everything I can to play well these days, but I don't seem to be the one in the chips.

P.S. Thanks for the comments.

Could be fun. I'm sure a few of us have already played at the same table without knowing it. And, if I know who you all are, I know which tables to avoid.

Never played 10-20. Don't have the bankroll for it...yet.

Keep at it. Keep posting hands though, seriously, these boards have improved my game 1000% and I still have a ton to learn. And I know you can apply these concepts as I play in the same games you do.

(Got them for 50BB last night)

btw, that hand was just a tough beat. He hit a two-outer. You know as well as I do, they can't do that very often. I think you'll like the results if you play that same hand 10,000 times.

4/8 w/ a kill is more lively than the 10/20 there most of the time anyway.

Yeah, that's always been my hunch. I read somewhere that the best game in a card room is usually one limit lower than the room's biggest game. I have no idea if that's actually true.
