It is very unlikely that 45 limps first position. Also agains the paired board the straight is more likely to bet out at some point in the hand. Of course, if the guy is loose and crazy who knows.... I am still surprised he checked the hand he did on the river. He must have just been so sure that Hero would bet for him on the end.

Your preflop raise is good against anyone except the stack leader.
Against the stack leader I'd put in a very big bet if not all in. I dont want to let him have a cheap look at the flop and hit 2 pair or better and knock me out. |

I agree the baby pairs are more likely. But somebody limping with 54 for less than 2% of their stack is not that uncommon. It makes it easier to limp reraise with AA later.
I think it makes them loose, not crazy. I do agree on his river play. A lot of players will just check behind on the river. Thanks Are you playing at the WPT event in LA next weekend? |
