You can have two programmes running on a single display.

Adding another display just means in effect you have a bigger display area.

Perhaps my question wasn't clear: what's the point of having 2 of the big 21" monitors, if you still only have one computer...? Is it possible to configure them so that you can play different games on each one? Or when people talk about getting two of the screens, are they implying that they will also have 2 computers, mice, etc.

NevadaJACK, the way it works is, you can have 2 video cards, each connected to a separate monitor. Then, through software (Windows, etc) you can expand your desktop across both monitors, so that if you had them side by side, it would be like one really large monitor. There are other ways to implement this, this is just the most common one.

I am going to call BS if you say you own this monitor in person and can notice any dot pitch from a regular distance.

Yeah, what he said. You wont notice it with your nose pressed to the screen either

Just before I started playing Poker I bought two Samsung 191T's, and I paid only a little less than the sale price of the 2001FP. The 191T's only go up to 1280x1024.

Bad beat.

Screw it. I just ordered two using these coupons:

http://www.slickdeals.net/#p4987

$1468.50 delivered.

I already have friends thinking about buying my 191Ts, but if not they will go on eBay.

This will allow me 4 tables on one screen and a full window for web, chat, pokertracker etc, instead of having to use tiny slivers of a window for each.

You just spent $1500 on two monitors?

What a bargain hunter you are.

You guys really think dell monitors are that great? Dell doesnt even make them. I could get the same specifications although a better brand from my distributor for around $450

Ok, I'll cancel the order if you show me a definite way to get monitors just as good for 450 each, then I'll send you half the difference. Just as good applies to warranty, dead pixel policy, as well as technical specs like size, resolution, pixel refresh time, etc. Actually, never mind, I was one of the people who voted not to trust you with numbers.

I showed this to my friend and he said

if people could get 20" FPs with those specs for $450, they would be selling like hot cakes on Ebay for $600
Helleuva alot more profitable making $150 per monitor all day than playing Party poker
$150 pot every time a winner
