IT has made its way to the friendly confines of the Lone Star State.

Re: IT has hit the east coast
UPS main hub is in Atlanta but they are a lot more decentralized than FedEx.

Re: IT has hit the east coast
Also nothing here in Manhattan, and I've spent two days at home so I wouldn't miss IT. It sounds like some people are getting IT via UPS and others by US mail, is that right?

Re: IT has hit the east coast
I specifically requested USPS, which may and may not have been a good idea. I haven't gotten my copy at any rate. Not that I'm sweating it, as I won't have much time to read it before Saturday, and I won't have time to play before Sunday. Well there's the game at Bob T.'s house on Saturday night, but since it's all 2+2ers, I'm not anticipating a lot of loose, bad players.
Unless you request otherwise, ConJelCo uses UPS. |

Re: IT has hit the east coast
I do believe that every single package FedEx ships goes through that hub.
Are the books being shipped second-day air or something? I would have thought that they'd go via ground in which case it would be surprising to see the books hit the east coast so quickly, since the trucks don't run on weekends. From Chuck's posts, I had the impression that orders were handled first-in-first-out unless you ordered other books simultaneously. I don't think UPS offers bulk-rate discounts. |
