Re: How many callers do you want with KK
The correct answer is somewhere between 4-7 depending on the hands, and this is easily mathematically provable as long as you can agree on a range of hands for the callers.

Re: How many callers do you want with KK
i haven't read all the responses, but the correct answer is that you want at least every other player at your tabble to call, and if you can, recruit potential callers from other tables nearby. if anyone says otherwise, they are misunderstanding some stat that says KK only wins 30% of the time(or some other crap like that).
you are dominant over all but TWO HANDS (AA and KK) cheers! |

Re: How many callers do you want with KK
The correct answer depends on how good an EV situation KK is vs. future EV situations you are likely to get.
In general, KK is such a great EV situation that you want to be playing for a great many chips, even tho your chances of getting busted go up. Which is why so many posters have correctly said some version of "get everyones chips in" But this may adjust based on if future EV situations are closer to this situation. For example, two absurd situations: 1) everyone goes all in each hand: best strategy is to keep folding until you lock 2nd place up. 2) everyone folds to any bet: - best strategy bet every hand to win all blinds. just food for thought, --Greg |
