The average blowjob is just a disguised handjob. Guys I've talked to agree we just get irritated or bored after a while and pull the girl up to do regular intercourse. Not because she's turned us on so much we can't wait to plow it in her; but because we're getting very bored and want to actually feel something. As Andrew Dice Clay says, "What are you LOOKIN' AT! It's a JOB!" All the noodling around on top, smiling and posing and making with the puppy dog eyes gets old after about five seconds. Guys like strong and constant pressure, and over as much of the length as possible. The average blowjob doesn't get there; it's usually a relief to get it over with.
I voted for the first option, but unless your girl really wants to get into it, not just mug and take a picture next to it, a blowjob is just another kind of handjob, and I can do 95% of what sensation's involved in that better myself. In that case, it's better to get down to the regular screwing by far, ASAP.
