Re: Whats a good $$$/hour on Empire 50\'s 6 max?
Good idea. Build a roll and then take a shot. Don't be afraid to move back down if it doesn't work out well at first. And post hands. Good luck.

[ QUOTE ]
i agree that 1K is enough to take a shot. But if you drop 2 buys, I would move back down to regain confidence and rebuild roll [/ QUOTE ] to be able to play well you cant think about losing 2 buy-ins thats just going to happen. If you lose 5 yea maybe step down but to think if you lose 2 or 3 buy-ins that will tighten you up so much you wont be able to play well. IF the money means alot to you step down so you always have enough of a working bankroll to beat $50's. The way you are beating the $50's you should easily be able to make $1500 over 1-3 weeks..maybe $1500 is a better BR for a new player.. Just start nibbling at the game ..once you do that you will be feel more confident. |

Re: Whats a good $$$/hour on Empire 50\'s 6 max?
I think it's ok to take a shot with 10 buys and to drop down if you lose 2. Maybe you'll run well at first and make a few buys before you hit a downswing. At least it gives you a chance to move up quickly. If you could be beating the 100s consistently, you are costing yourself a lot of money to be sitting and grinding the 50s.
