Yes it's overplayed on every street postflop. Don't get fooled by your river bet succeeding. I'm sure BB had a worse hand anyway. This river bet as a bluff cannot succeed b/c the pot is so big - it might be OK against very weak tight players or a special category of LAGs that do bad folds but your opponent didn't belong to any of these 2 categories.

To be honest, I think it would be incorrect for him NOT to fire at this river given all the bets he's spewed already. Heads up you might get someone to fold enough to show a profit here given his aggression throughout.

flop fine, turn fine, check river. you can fold or call on the river based on how you feel about his bet.

Don't bet the flop.

* You're not taking it down against 4 other players
* You don't have a good hand
* You don't have a good draw
* Getting CO to fold so that you have the button doesn't give you much help in this hand

good point, something i overlooked. just cuz you raise preflop doesnt mean you have to bet the flop.

Agreed.

Read the overcards section towards the end of SSH. When playing overcards look for ragged boards and not very many opponents. Neither of which apply here.

Even if you are best on the flop, which is not likely, theres plenty of ways for you to be beat on the turn and river.

Against a calling station I think it is a value bet.

Against a calling station I think it's spewing. He'll call, then turn over bottom pair, or an ace.
