We have a wonderful state legislature that has blessed us with a wonderful law outlawing bets larger than $2 here in FL (Miami area) so I don't play much live. I never mind getting together with 2+2ers for a beer though.

What about at the Indian casinos? No poker rooms there?

Same $2 max bet. There are SNGs most places that are ok.

One of the few states with no state income tax and a huge number of tourists, and a man can't go fishing. What a shame. Did you vote, by the way?

My girlfriend told me that he is the best looking guy to win the world series of poker ever. He sure looks better than Raymer or Moneymaker. Maybe he could put some sexy pictures of himself in his book and go on all the daytime talk shows and deliver us a whole new school of girlyfish who want to play poker. The man is a doctor, so I'm not too concerned about his ability to think and write well. I'm sure if there are any problems, that would be taken care of in editing. I'm waiting for Raymer's book because I have a great deal of respect for the man and am interested in his thought process as well. I think there are enough books and articles available for ABC poker, what I would like to see are things rarely discussed and written about, such as, what goes through there head when making a decision (which is why Harrington's works are so masterful).

I just hope the proofs to his editor arn't hand written or it wont come out till 2020. He is afterall a doctor.

I mean raymer survived 2 of the largest fields .....that means he must know that something don't...if not for a bad beat he would have made 2 consecutive final tables through 2 largest fields in history...

That is rather results oriented... I love Greg (Don't worry not THAT way) and will buy his book, however if he didn't win his all in flush draw against the Mouth in 2004, he wouldn't have made it then. And you could have said if not for THAT bad beat then Matasow could have possibly made it to the final table two years in a row in the largest fields ever.

But back on topic..I would prefer a personal book with a few of his thoughts on various stages of the 2005 Main Event. (Like Annie Dukes book, but this time written by someone who doesn't make me want to vomit in my mouth)

Has she even seen pictures of all the guys who have won the ME? Is she really saying that he's more attractive than Varkonyi or a coked-up Stu Unger (RIP) or "Action" Dan. Make sure she has seen a picture of Russ Hamilton before she makes that statement.

IIRC, it was calculated that, though behind, Fossilman was a favourite when the money went in. Hardly a "bad beat" for Matusow.
