I found a similar problem, and here's the thread:

See if any of the advice in that thread is helpful. Maybe try ipconfig /flushdns and see what that does. Of course, get your ISP's DNS address(es) beforehand.

Thank you for the link. It seems this person's browsing issue is exactly the same as mine and it was resolved by using a proxy to get to the website.

Perhaps you have spyware on your computer? Try using Microsoft AntiSpam from microsoft.com and AdAware.

I just had an issue where the 2+2 forum ads wouldn't load. It would error twice on me every time I went to a new page or clicked on a new link.

Found out it's because the router I was using was assuming a class A address (subnet mask of 255.0.0.0) instead of the more normal class C address (subnet mask of 255.255.255.0). Since it was handing out an IP address of 69.x.x.x (in the same 'network' as the 2+2 forum adserver, adserver.conjelco.com), it couldn't talk to them.

That doesn't explain why one computer can reach it through the router and another can't.

Maybe it is some filter somewhere... maybe 'poker' doesn't count under 'gambling' filters?

PINGing isn't a good test, I can't ping either.

How about: https://www.neteller.com/ab/signin/index.cfm

(note it says https instead of http, so may be different than GrannyMae's... didn't check).

Nope, all the other secure sites that I use are fine. Neteller's home page is a non-secure http and I can't even get that to load. My XP computers just have a grudge against Neteller for some reason.

Gotta be something filtering it out, then.

Send an e-mail to the support at your ISP and ask why they're blocking access to that site.

Who is your ISP, anyway?
