He's never fought anybody in MMA that has a good record.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funaki?????

Besides, records don't mean that much in MMA. A lot of cans have good records, and a lot of really good fighters have medicore ones.

Rickson is the greatest fighter of all time. If he lost a fight, we would have heard about it. 410-0 is an amazing feat even if they were all tomato cans.

[ QUOTE ]
Go to Sherdog and ask about your pal Rickson.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL....No, that's a terrible site.

The actual site is great. It has a record of all MMA fights, can't beat that. And that record isn't impressive when you only fight scrubs and cans. He counts SPARRING MATCHES against his students and crap. That's not a real fight. Rickson is a turd.

meh, I've never been too much of a fan of sherdog. THey are a little elitest about MMA and can be accuesed of ignoring facts or other point of view's when it comes to things(i can't really think of anything off hand, but I haven't had the greatest experiences there).

DVD's MMA section isn't bad, but dvd posters can get really tied up in who they like and you can't convince them of anything else. I got banned from there two or three years ago that you can't compare a small wreslting promotion like Ring Of Honor fully to a big promotion like NOAH. I can go into it further as it was a real silly banning if anyone wants to PM me, dean acted like a real baby about it

That list means nothing. He's never fought anybody in MMA that has a good record. He's fought all cans with horrible losing records. Go to Sherdog and ask about your pal Rickson.

[/ QUOTE ]

Please don't bring that Sherdog propaganda in here.

First of all, Rickson beat Masakatsu Funaki who has a great record (38-11). Destroyed him, quite frankly. And he did that at the age of 41.

Rickson of course is not going to have a sterling resume of wins against top MMA talent, when MMA barely even registered as a viable sport in Rickson's days. It still doesn't mean he wasn't an amazing fighter. He took on anyone who came into his dojo and challenged him, never losing. He was undefeated in sport jiu-jitsu, world champ for something like 15 years.

With a comment like "Rickson is a turd" or "wuss" (comments that any real fighter would double over laughing at), I imagine you are right at home in Sherdog where everyone is a fanboy and trashes each other's fighters nonstop. Try to keep that stuff out of here though.

rickson is royce's older brother. ROyler is younger then royce. Helio is the father of them. Renzo and Ryan are their first cousins(I think they might be carlson's sons)
