After establishing the Cat Island Poker Championship (thereafter shortened to the CPC) the island backed out from hosting the event. Air and ship transportation as well as accomadations had already been arranged and Party Poker had to scramble to find a sponsorship country that begins with a C. And as they say "The rest is history". Well actually it will be the future but you know what I mean.

I also have my suspicions that the $5k buy-in might be in Canadian dollars...so we need to find out for sure.
I would be interested in this as long as I was sure that I am getting full value for my entry. If they give away a $5k Canadian-dollar entry for every $5k in American dollars that they take in then it is a horrible rip-off.
