Re: my awesome new ebay table
I have the "Pit Boss" table and it has held up nicely in our weekly game.
I paid $179 for it at Academy, which is a local sporting goods store. |

Re: my awesome new ebay table
I have been looking at several tables on eBay and have been impressed with them. When I compare the time, effort, and cost of a custom they look even better. Then again you have to have the tools and space which I don't have. Some you can buy with custom colors. I may rent a couple of tables out with dealer for games so I need 2-4 tables.

[ QUOTE ]
i don't know if that table is a pitboss, but if it is, the legs are absolute crap. i bought one at a sporting goods store for $200 and the top was great, but the legs weren't sturdy which caused the center to lean in. i ended up taking the legs off the bottom and buying one of those lifetime tables and refelted the top so it doesn't have a crease anymore and it looks great. edit- that table isn't a pitboss brand. the pitboss' have a nicer rail that only have a crease in the middle. the legs could be okay. [/ QUOTE ] I agree 100% with the pit boss assessment..legs are crap and eventually will bend and the screws and legs will come aloose from the table. My pit boss table is in my garage folded up collecting dust. |
