Maybe I skipped a few lines of Swings' in the thread, because I can't seem to figure out why everyone is being so negative. Swings, we all take our swings, they suck. Beginning of the summer, I built up a bankroll to 8K and thought I was awesome, a month later I was down to 2K, back up to 12k and thinking I'm awesome, down to 6K and wondering why I didn't quit when I hit 12k, finally up to 50k and loving life. Anyways, the best advice I've seen in here, take a break. It doesn't have to be a month, just take 3-4 days off and enjoy life. Go for a walk, catch up with some friends, whatever it takes to relax you while avoiding the tables.

I really have to agree with Ace... I re-read the OP when everyone started flaming and I just can't understand why.
Moreso... why the sharp, biting sarcasim? I'd love to see the shoe on the other foot for those who think that's a fancy approach. |

This has nothing to do with poker, and everything to do with your fiance. This should be an optimistic and happy period of your life, not an emotional downer. Clearly, your fiance is a bitch. If she was a good woman, she would be supporting you right now, not doubting your abilities. Your love has blinded you.
Find a new girlfriend and dump the anchor. |
