Yeah and then after you don't cash and you realize you wasted your time making $500 total playing 50 hours a week for a month you will be laughing along with us.

Oh, I guess I should not count the $ 10,000 entry fee into the WSOP, mine and my wife's airfare and hotel room paid for 10 days (about another $ 3,000) as any value.

Plus the experience of playing in the WSOP. I guess that's not worth much.

Plus I guess I will be able to cash my TruePoints for approximately $ 700.00, but that doesn't mean a whole lot.

I guess you're right. I'm wasting my time.

(sarcasm intended)

so you aren't making money while playing the games, isn't it basically your rake is going toward the entry fee/hotel, your profits from the tables are taken?? I'm

My apologies to the original poster for the hijacking of this thread. My original post was just an attempt at humor.
I did not mean for it to develop into is the TruePoker WSOP 120K hands challenge I'm doing worth it or not.

First of all, I did this for more reasons than just the trip to the WSOP. I won't go into all that here. If anyone wants to go back and read my original post and my updates in regards to this challenge in the internet forum, please do so.

The answer to this question is it depends. If you're a 2 BB/100 winner at the 15/30 game month after month while playing a large number of hands each month, the answer is pretty obvious. No.

Well, that's not me.

I have no limit requirements that I have to play to win this challenge. I estimate 60% of my hands have been played at the $1/$2 level. Another approximate 20% at the $25 NL. The rest of the 20% of the hands is probably spread out this way: 10% - $2/$4, 5% - $3/$6, 3% - $50 NL and 2% $5/$10.

I went to a rake tracker calculator, and just assumed all 120K hands were at $1/$2 with a 27% rake return agreement. This amounts to $ 2,592.00 in rake return. Lets assume, I am just an average winning player and can beat the game for 1.5 BB/100. 120,000 hands / 100 = 1200 x (2 x 1.5) = 3,600.00

2592.00 + 3,600.00 = $ 6,192.00
total value to player without the challenge

Value of WSOP Trip: $ 13,000.00
True Points value: 700.00
Winnings to date: 203.00
Total value to date: $ 13,903.00

My goal was to beat the game for about 1 BB/100 when I first started this challenge, which translates to $ 2,400.00. Not impossible yet, but I will need to start to run much better for the next 47k hands. If that happens it will make the total value of this challenge $ 16,100. A winning 15/30 player at 2 BB/100 (including rake back) would have to play 27,000 hands to equal this. A winning 5/10 player at 2 BB/100 (including rake) would have to play 80,500 hands to equal this. A winning 3/6 player at 2 BB/100 (including rake) would have to play 134,000 hands. A winning 2/4 player - 201,000 hands. A winning 1/2 player - 402,000 hands.

Is it worth it? I think each player has to answer that question for themselves. But I would think for the vast majority of posters on 2 + 2 it would be well worth it.

sponger is clearly just upset because he is sexually frustrated, so much so that he has now started pm'ing random 2+2ers and asking them have sex with him.

peace

Don't take the bait man. If a random dude is gonna talk s.hit to you about your decisions your best move is to ignore. Whatever you do don't justify yourself to judgemental as.sholes.
