Re: Bed Sheets

What is jersey knit? What do you like about it? [/ QUOTE ] It's the sheets that feel like a t-shirt. They're very comfortable, but they're stretchy and they end up getting all fubar. They also don't slide very well and get caught on the edge of the bed and just stretch instead of pulling over. |

I like jersey knit. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is what we have. I like it. I could see how you could get better but I certainly don't need em. NT |

Re: Bed Sheets
I recently had a decent tournament showing, and the only thing I bought for my house was an extremely overpriced mattress set, and expensive sheets.
Changes everything. If I could only have one luxury item the rest of my life, without a doubt thats what it would be. (I also bought a matching dish set, that has left me strangely unfulfilled) |

Re: Bed Sheets
High quality sheets are an indulgence well worth the price.
My taste, however, may be insufficiently refined, since I am unable to tell the difference between 600 count and 800 count. Possibly it is that the 600's are long staple Egyptian cotton. I cannot imagine an increase in quality of feel from 600/800 count to 1000 count that would be proportionate to the increase in price. |

Re: Bed Sheets
I find it hard to believe that a bunch of poker players who strive for comfort in their chairs/monitors/input devices can't understand spending money on something like a mattress & sheets that you spend even more time on (usually).
Mattress, Sheets, Shoes, Computer chair are things that it's hard for me to put a price on. Freakin |
