You really want to have more than just a flush to play with, and A9s is just too likely to be dominated. A suited connector or a pocket pair would be an easy call though. |

I haven't played .5/1 in a while, so I don't have a feel for the 'typical' player, but ...
Without any reads it is hard to know, but I think you all may be seriously overestimating the PRFs hand. Even if he wasn't a poster, there are a huge number of hands he could profitably raise here (20% or more of his possible hands). As a poster, his propensity to raise may be even higher than normal. Against me, I would 3-bet with A9s. |
