[/ QUOTE ] I think he was wondering about the K5 hand. It was from the EPT French Open. It aired in Europe and Canada sometime in the last few months, but not the US. colson10 |

i posted during the old wsop how i thought julian gardner snapped off a bluff with TT on a scary board. it was pretty solid, and at showdown he was pretty excited and happy with his play. link here [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, that hand immediately sticks out in my mind. He made some pretty tough calls on the turn and river, but it wasnt for all his chips, so I don't if it qualifies. |

In the 2004 WSOP Julian Gardner with POcket 10's check-called all the way down against a bluff by Daniel Alieah (sp?). Was a great read....you could see Harry Potter looking into Daniels soul! LOL

Julian Gardner called a ~60K bet into a ~120K pot on the river with 1010. The board read KKQ52 no flush. His opponent, Daniel Alai, checked the flop, bet the turn and bet the river in position. Gardner called both bets and Daniel flipped over A7s. IMO this was a great call.
Durs Edit - Apparently I'm not the only one who thought so. |
