Because the results of a hand in a tournament can have a huge effect on all of the other players who weren't involved in the hand. In certain situations the effects would be similar to collusion, if the actions caused or prevented a player from being eliminated.

Yea similar thing happened to me, I bluffed a guy out of a pot representing the nut flush, like i bet the 3rd heart on the turn saying...i have the nut flush so unless you're playing for the board pairing on the river , fold. He folded when the board didnt pair on the river.
I showed him my bluff and he got really really ticked off and called me all the names in the world, he even said that id go to hell cuzz i lied .Is it wrong to show ur bluff?
Like every one chastised me for showing my bluff
