Some general questions, feel free to answer: -What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker? -How often do you cash out? [/ QUOTE ] - About 25% - Whenever I have more than 5k on any site I cash out to 2k - Taking a break from MTTs and playing SNGs - A lot more than before I played poker - In shock after winning a stars $10 rebuy - On a downswing after winning/chopping 3 straight tournaments 2.5 months ago - Have a cash in a $1k+ live event and have a $150+ online win under my belt. |

Re: MTT Forum Census
[ QUOTE ]
-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker? [/ QUOTE ] Hard to say for me as I like to keep very little money on poker web sites. I've got a NW of about 20k, and I play no higher than $15 MTTs, although I do play $100NL live, and occasionally $200NL. [ QUOTE ] -How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it? [/ QUOTE ] I keep very little money directly in poker web sites because I play such low stakes that if I have too much in my BR, I'll stop caring about success. I frequently cash out to just $50. This is dumb, but purely psychological. I'm slightly worried that I'll be accused of bonus whoring bodog, when in fact I'm doing a horrible job of that. [ QUOTE ] -Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week? [/ QUOTE ] Right now I'm in school, so no. Brown's got a weird schedule, though, so I have many breaks in which I'll be home without friends. I have a schedule for those times. [ QUOTE ] -How much gamb00l do you have? [/ QUOTE ] I'm getting more. Right now, barely any. [ QUOTE ] -Where were you a year ago with MTT's? [/ QUOTE ] Playing cash games and not really understanding much theory behind poker. Thanks 2+2, btw. [ QUOTE ] -Where are you now? [/ QUOTE ] I'm playing a lot of the bodog low buy-in guarantees. I'm having a lot of trouble staying focused and applying my poker knowledge to my own online game. My live game, I think, is pretty good. [ QUOTE ] -Where do you want to be a year from now? [/ QUOTE ] I want to be at the same stakes, but with much more success. This is very doable. |

[/ QUOTE ] 1) 40% of my net worth is online, but that's mainly because I'm lazy and don't cash out, like, ever. 2) The last time I cashed out was when I made a big score in January. 3) I should, but I don't. One of my goals next month is to actually hit my play target. This month I took a week off on vacation, but even with that, I didn't get halfway to my play target. 4) With my bankroll, I am TOO conservative. I should be playing much higher stakes than I currently do. 5) Not really playing MTTs, except for the occasional supersatellite to a 215 on Party and some UB 5.50's. Was about to transition from 1/2 6-max to 5/10 6-max. 6) Playing $22 and $33 tourneys, and rebuys on Party and Stars. 7) Buying straight in to $109's, $162's, and the big Sunday tourneys. |

-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker? Started with about 1k
-How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it? Whenever I need it for food or bills and neteller to neteller debit card. -Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week? Play all the $3, $5 rebuys I can as well as deep stack tournies -How much gamb00l do you have? None at all...must have odds. -Where were you a year ago with MTT's? Didn't really play them but did have a 1st place in a $100+9 tourney at Pacific for $4200+ -Where are you now? Just won $9700 in 3 different Stars tournies this week and still playing low limit tournies but deciding if I want to move up from the NL$100 since I have 100+ buyins now. -Where do you want to be a year from now? Would like to win the TLB weekly at least 3 times next year and 10PTbb/100 at the NL$200. |

Re: MTT Forum Census
-What percentage of your money is dedicated to poker?
I started my BR with $300 and have never redeposited, I do buy books once in a while though, figure around $30/mo. -How often do you cash out? What's your procedure for it? After a great run this summer bringing my BR to about $30K I finally cashed out $10K (I use Neteller) and paid off some bills. -Do you have a set goal amount of MTT's to play a week? No goals, but according to my records I play about 80/month -How much gamb00l do you have? Sometimes too much, sometimes not enough -Where were you a year ago with MTT's? Barely a winning player at the $5.50 - $22 level -Where are you now? A substantial winner at the $22-$44 level (although I play higher and lower sometimes) -Where do you want to be a year from now? A winner at the $150-$200 level (Supers and big weekly events) |
