Even against top set, you have 48% equity on the flop (you're backdoor flush draws or an ace gives you some high equity.) On the turn, if you could put your opponent squarely on a set, you would just barely not have the equity to call (28% when you need 33%). If there's a small chance he has something less, you have an obvious call. If he somehow had QT for the straight, you'd have 25% equity. |

My first ever AA23 DS was at foxwoods in a 30-60 O.E. game, i got rivered for half the pot in a heads up pot so i won nothing with it... GREAT hand
